FAQ

Ordering & Stock

Q: Is the stock shown on the website accurate?
A: Yes! Our website inventory is tracked in real-time. If an item or configuration shows as "in stock," it is currently in our warehouse and ready to be processed for your order.

Q: Can you build a custom desk for my specific studio needs?
A: We absolutely can. Our Custom Shop is available for clients who need a highly tailored workspace. Custom options and bespoke designs are available by booking a direct consultation session with our design team. Reach out to us via our contact page to schedule your session.

Shipping & Delivery

Q: How will my Sessiondesk be delivered? Can the driver bring it inside?
A: Due to the large size and heavy weight of our studio furniture, all orders are shipped via freight. Delivery is strictly curbside only. The freight carrier will drop the pallet(s) off at the curb of your address, but they are not authorized or insured to carry the boxes inside your house, apartment, or studio facility. Please ensure you have a friend or a team ready to help you move the packages from the curb to your studio space on delivery day.

Materials & Finishes

Q: What materials do you use for your desks?
A: We pride ourselves on building rugged, premium studio furniture. Our primary material is high-grade Baltic birch plywood, known for its incredible strength, acoustic properties, and durability. Additionally, we utilize Fibrapan boards manufactured by FINSA in Spain, specifically designed for furniture manufacturing. These boards are primarily employed for non-structural components or parts that necessitate high-gloss finishes.

Q: Will the wood grain on my desk look exactly like the pictures online?
A: If you are buying an unfinished or stained wood desk, please keep in mind that wood is a natural material. Wood grains, knots, and patterns are entirely random, and we cannot control or guarantee a specific visual pattern. We think this gives every desk a unique character! However, if you are looking for a perfectly uniform, constant look across your whole setup, we highly recommend choosing our 90s black finish.

Console Integration & Gear

Q: Can I integrate my mixing console into a Sessiondesk?
A: Yes. We offer precise console integrations for some of the most highly regarded gear in the industry. Whether you are running an API, Rupert Neve Designs, SSL or AMS Neve console, our modular designs can accommodate your workflow perfectly. If you have questions about specific console footprints and drop-in compatibility, check the specific product pages or contact our support team.

Q: Is it easy to assemble the desk once it arrives?
A: Yes, our desks are designed with a smart, modular architecture. While the pieces are heavy and highly durable, the actual assembly process is straightforward. Every order includes detailed instructions, and we recommend having at least two people for the build process simply due to the weight of the components.

Returns & Warranties

Q: What is your return policy?
A: We want you to be completely satisfied with your studio upgrade. If you change your mind, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unassembled, in their original condition, and in the original packaging. Please note that because these are high-volume freight shipments, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. Custom Shop orders are final sale and cannot be returned.

Q: Do Sessiondesk products come with a warranty?
A: Absolutely. We stand firmly behind the quality of our craftsmanship. All Sessiondesk products come with a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Please note that natural variations in wood grain or minor cosmetic changes from normal studio use are not considered manufacturing defects.
