Refund policy

At Sessiondesk, we want you to be completely satisfied with your studio setup. While European law mandates a 14-day return window, we proudly extend a 30-day return policy to our customers worldwide. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

1. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, your items must meet the following strict conditions:

  • Condition: The item must be unused, unassembled, and in the exact condition you received it, complete with all tags.
  • Packaging: The item must be in its original packaging. For freight transport, items must be securely palletized and packed exactly as delivered to prevent transit damage.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or formal proof of purchase is required.

Please Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a formal return authorization will not be accepted under any circumstances.

2. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Request Authorization: Contact us directly at to initiate your return request.
  2. Receive Routing Instructions: Depending on your geographical location, we will route your return to the appropriate facility:
    • Returns from within Europe: Must be shipped directly to our manufacturing hub:

    • Returns from outside Europe: We will provide you with the localized address of our designated 3rd-party logistics (3PL) fulfillment partner upon officially authorizing your return request.

3. Return Shipping Fees & Duties

For standard returns or change-of-mind, the customer is solely responsible for organizing, executing, and paying for all return freight shipping, customs duties, clearance fees, and any associated local logistics charges.

4. Damages, Defects, and Freight Deliveries

Please inspect your order thoroughly immediately upon reception. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us right away so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

For Freight-Delivered Items: You are required to inspect the outer pallet and packaging upon arrival. You must note any visible external damage directly on the carrier’s delivery note before signing for the shipment.

5. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

Certain classes of items are strictly excluded from our standard 30-day return policy:

  • Custom Shop Products: Custom configurations, bespoke builds, or personalized production items cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Final Sale (Outside EU): For orders originating outside the European Union, we do not accept returns on clearance items, final sale items, or gift cards.

6. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (B2C Only)

Notwithstanding the terms above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union to a private consumer (B2C), you retain your statutory right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification.

  • Items should ideally be returned in their original packaging, unassembled, and unused.
  • The consumer remains liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling or damage beyond what is strictly necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

7. Exchanges

The fastest way to swap an item is to return the original product using the process outlined above. Once your return is accepted and processed, you can place a separate new purchase for the replacement item.

8. Refunds Process

Once your return is received and thoroughly inspected at our manufacturing hub or designated 3PL warehouse, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approval Timeline: If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Banking Delays: Please keep in mind that your bank or credit card issuer may require additional processing time to post the credit to your account.
